Ratna Kumari

Ratna is an Associate at CD+M Lighting Design studio in Dubai with over 15+ years of experience in the lighting industry and a visiting professor at Manipal University, Dubai.

Formerly served as an instructor in Anna University accredited colleges and briefly worked as an software developer that paved way to the lighting industry.

She earned my Master’s in Architectural Lighting & Design Management from the University of Wismar, Germany and also Lighting Certified by the National Council for Qualified Lighting Professionals.

She is an contributing active member of IESNA and part of Advisory Member of the Daylighting and Light-Design Committee since 2014. She worked considerable range of projects worldwide as project manager and more than 50+ projects to work from the Concept towards the completion.

She believe that her journey in Lighting Design is to fulfill the balance between Art & Science and present it through updated technology for the rapidly changing digital environment.
