Shahrzad Abtahi

Shahrzad is the Senior Associate and Design Studio Manager at Borealis Group's Boston office, leveraging 15 years of experience in lighting design. With a background in teaching lighting and design courses at local Universities, she now frequently speaks at lighting and architectural conferences nationwide.

In 2018, Lighting Magazine named her one of North America’s top 40 under 40 lighting designers. Shahrzad has won multiple awards for her projects and is recognized for her expertise in sustainable and circadian design, continuing to make significant contributions to the lighting industry.
