What does being a Silhouette Awards Mentor involve?
🧡You have the opportunity to Mentor and share your valuable knowledge and experience with one of today's rising stars in our industry to help them flourish.
🧡 You become part of an international network of past and present Silhouette Awards Mentors.
🧡 You help define our winners by forming part of the judging panel.
🧡 You also get to learn from others - the other Mentors (we have a separate community for you all to share ideas), as well as from your Mentees. It’s a 2-way process!
🧡 You commit to participating in our selected PR video activities prior to the Winners Announcement [approx. 30minutes]
🧡 You commit to engaging with Silhouette Awards' social media posts and raising awareness about the program to help potential mentees participate and apply.
🧡 You commit to review all nominations and participate in the independent judging process [to be communicated in advance]
🧡 You commit to participating in the online ceremony when we announce the Winners [approx. 1hour]
🧡 You commit to a minimum engagement of 6 x one-hour virtual sessions with your Mentee during the 6 months mentorship period.
🧡You commit to participating in a Marketing activity together with your Mentee in the 4th month of your shared journey (article, video interview, collage) [approx. 10minutes if video option]
🧡You commit to provide feedback to the Silhouette Awards team at the end of the 6 months Mentorship programme.
