Annie Eng

Using light not just as a practical tool, but as a medium to craft atmosphere, evoke emotion, and transform the built environment. Annie is the Design Director of Light Collab, an award-winning lighting design practice based in Singapore, a professional member of International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and Certified Lighting Designer (CLD).

She found lighting as an expressive way to enhance her technical drive for creativity. Being so captivated with lighting, she is very meticulous in every stage of implementation from concept, detailed design, planning, execution and project management of innovative design. She has experience in vast project types such as commercial mix-development, hospitality, high-end and private residential, workspaces, healthcare facility, urban masterplan, architectural façade and outdoor exhibition across the globe in the region of Asia, Middle East, Europe and Australasia.

With Light Collab, she has been a recipient of LIT Awards Honourable Mentions – The Reef at King’s Dock, Singapore, LIT Awards Workplace Lighting Design – Thoughtworks Corporate Office, Singapore and LIT Awards Winners in Visitor Experience & Museum Exhibition – Pangolin Trail, Night Safari, Singapore.
