Throughout his career, Avinash has focused on creating lighting designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, technical performance, and user experience. His work involves developing lighting concepts, design strategies, calculations, specifications, control systems, and coordinated construction documentation while collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, landscape consultants, engineers, and clients.

As a senior lighting designer, he also leads and supports design teams, guiding projects through concept, schematic, design development, and construction stages. He is passionate about mentoring emerging designers and helping them strengthen their design thinking, technical knowledge, presentation skills, and confidence within the lighting profession.

Avinash believes that mentorship is most effective when it combines practical industry experience with open discussion, constructive feedback, and encouragement. Through the Silhouette Awards mentorship programme, he hopes to share his experience, support the next generation of lighting professionals, and contribute to a more collaborative and inclusive international lighting design community.
