Stephanie Harris
Stephanie Harris MSLL is a lighting designer, Associate Director, and Head of Lighting, specialising but not limited to the illumination of historic, ecclesiastical, and architecturally significant spaces.
As a Member of the Society of Light and Lighting, she combines technical expertise with a design-led, context-sensitive approach and leads a lighting team of 9 specialist lighting designers within a larger MEP practice.
Her work focuses on revealing the character and hierarchy of spaces through light, carefully balancing visual impact with conservation principles. Stephanie is particularly experienced in working within sensitive heritage environments, where a nuanced understanding of architectural fabric, stakeholder requirements, and approval processes is essential. She develops lighting strategies that enhance spatial experience while respecting historical integrity.
With a strong track record of leading projects from concept through to completion, Stephanie brings clear strategic thinking and collaborative leadership to multidisciplinary teams. She works closely with clients, architects, and heritage bodies to deliver thoughtful, well-resolved solutions that respond to both functional needs and aesthetic ambitions.
