After studying architecture, Beata realised her passion lay with design. This, combined with her love for story-telling, meant she was able to shape interiors with a strong identity.
She spent 15 years at pS Arkitektur, which allowed her to combine both passions of lighting and interior design. She subsequently spent a year in London specialising in lighting design, which resulted in Beata deciding to pursue a career specifically within lighting design. To expand her lighting knowledge further, she immersed herself in lighting workshops, seminars and conferences. Beata subsequently returned to her native Stockholm and set up a lighting design studio within Reflex Architects.
Beata remains as passionate as ever about the lighting industry and loves educating others about the power of lighting through writing articles and giving talks. Her aim is to now expand the variety of projects she works on at her lighting design studio department, which she set up in 2019 with two fellow peers from the lighting industry!
