Victor Palacio, IALD, CLD is the founder and director of ideas en luz, an independent lighting design practice in México City.
His vast experience in lighting design spans more than 20 years, and although the firm specializes in museum and historical monument lighting, it is also well known for high-end architectural, institutional, residential, and retail projects. Victor is a believer in the power of light to transform spaces for creating a positive impact on human well-being.
His passion further extends into shaping the lighting design industry with his involvement in the IALD. He is past president of the IALD (2016-17), previously serving on the Board as a Director-at-Large; the IALD Membership Committee; and the Credentialing Task Force. Victor is also Past President of the IES México Section and contributes to the Latin American movement EILD.
