Enthusiastic about the ability of light to change people's life, since 2002 Sergio has been working in UAE, Italy and the Far East as independent lighting designer and project manager.

Darkness is the new luxury- Architecture is a social service – Light cannot be drawn- are mottos condensing leitmotifs of his practice.

Partnering for over two decades with some of the most prominent architecture offices and hospitality operators, his firm built a solid understanding of the cultural and environmental conditions proper of each market.

Sergio Boccia is lecturer in Integrative Design Management at the CEIBS, International Business School, Zurich and teacher at NABA University in Milan.
